Laurel Lawry
PRESIDENT

A leader in the Arts, Culture, and Heritage sector for over a decade, and a versatile senior manager for over 25 years in the not-for-profit, business, and government sectors.
Laurel Lawry leverages her experience in governance, strategy and operations, cultural programming, revenue development, fundraising and financial oversight, and government, Indigenous, and partner relations, to carefully guide clients toward articulating a new vision rooted in real-world scenarios.
A community-oriented leader, Laurel works with integrity and transparency to inspire, and to build cooperation and trust. This ability has afforded her the opportunity to work with diverse and under-served communities, with whom she has built deep and lasting relationships. Her demonstrated success in leadership roles stems from fostering a creative work culture and embracing positive change.
Among her accomplishments, Laurel successfully delivered a new community museum and major fundraising campaign, contributing to its transition business plan and facility project, and leading the implementation of its successful new operational and staffing model during its first two years of operation.
She has contributed her expertise in strategic and financial analysis and organisational development to international museum and science centre projects, working with recognized leaders in the field.
